This month's issue is all about how we can live healthier lives, so we thought it prudent to remind everyone that there is nothing wrong with a little “down” time when you can get it. This photo features the delivery team for Finley's Grocery Store as they take a rest during a lull in activity on North Main Street in 1902. Signs of progress are evident as commercial buildings press in upon the remaining residences, streetcar tracks are installed, new granite curbs and gutters trim the edges of the dirt street and electrical poles line the thoroughfare. So at least we know progress was being made somewhere.
