What’s your signature style?

Dan Byers

Everyone has their own personal style, whether planned or simply observed by those who see them on a regular basis. Let's face it, the minimalists among us are known for a consistent wardrobe of khaki pants and white shirts in just the same way a more fashionable dresser is expected to show up in the latest style no matter what the occasion. So with what we wear announcing to the world something about us before we even speak, we thought we'd ask our contributors this all-important question: “What's your signature style?”

Dan Byers, Automotive Contributor

“Casually classic, or colossally clueless, depending on your perspective. I shop for clothes the way I shop for milk — by value and expiration date.”

Stephanie Morgan

Stephanie Morgan, Contributing Writer

“I love white cowl necks, but I must confess that the signature is in the chocolate chip fingerprints from my children on those and everything else I own.”

Sybil Davis

Sybil Davis, Etiquette Contributor

“I love the fashion and styles of the 1950s and 1960s, and I love to wear fashion pins or brooches on suits and dresses. I guess that would make my signature fashion style just plain ‘old-fashioned.’”

Kondria Woods

Kondria Woods, Contributing Writer

“Any suit or dress with a tailored fit!”

Stephanie Trotter

Stephanie Trotter, Contributing Writer

“Anything that's clean! (Wrinkles and dog hair don’t count.)”

Danny Baker

Danny Baker, Wine Contributor

“Seersucker suit and a glass of wine.”

Ashley Warlick

Ashley Warlick, Book Reviewer

“Skirts, skirts, skirts.”

Janet Poleski

Janet Poleski, Food Contributor

“Hate to say it, but I'm more into styling food than myself.”

Josh Norris

Josh Norris, Photographer

“Comfortable and camera-ready.”

Leslie Provence, Social Contributor

“It changes daily depending on my mood or my day. I often have to go from casual to business to evening wear all in a three-day period.”

Renata Parker, Dining Out and Destinations Contributor

“A uniform — dress, heels and a handbag large enough to hold camera equipment, note pad and plum lip gloss.”
