In case we needed any proof that fashion is a timeless art, this photo taken in 1950 at the South Carolina Cotton Council Fashion Show erases any doubt. The show was organized by Lang Cheves, vice president of Daniel Construction Company in Greenville, to support the textile industry in South Carolina. All of the models are wearing cotton clothing, and if you ask us, doing so very elegantly indeed.
